Coining Technologies Inc. has recently increased its capacity and capabilities in the grinding and finishing department with the purchase of two SpeedFam through-feed grinding machines. One of the machines is a replacement for an existing machine which has been taken off-line, while the other is for grinding capacity increase.

Coining Technologies Inc. is a leader in the production of metal frame and tub base packaging components. After the blanking and forming operations, the through-feed grinding process is used to bring the parts down to the required overall height before moving on to piercing or other operations.

Coining Technologies Inc. is now operating eight through-feed grinding machines, and can offer high quality precision parts manufactured from CRS, stainless steel, Kovar, Alloy 52, Alloy 42, copper and other metals.
